Little Mermaid

Hello and welcome back to cards by Kay . It is time for a new challenge over at Simply Steampunk Challenges ! This month we are using images designed by the very talented Abigail Larsen which are available now over at the SBS store Here.
  Our challenge for you this month is to create your own background, you can use stencils,stamps,misters,ink sprays anything you like, and you can use one other piece of designer paper but only 1. So the idea is to make your background stand out use a steampunk image and join us for some more fun over at the Simply Steampunk Challenges Blog head over there for more info !
 So my for challenge day piece I have used,

                                      Little Mermaid

                                     

So to create my background I have used the following:

Tim Holtz alcohol inks in colors of Denim and Bottle 

 and distress inks in Tea dye,Pine Needles,faded Denim and Bundled Sage

White gloss card

Dark Room Door Stamp sets Under the Sea 

Stamps from Kaszazz - Netting stamp

Versa fine vintage Sepia ink

Momento London fog  

Glossy accents for the bubbles

Cork Sheet and 

my one piece of designer paper is a blue and gold marbled piece

Ok onto the copic colors I have used to color my image :

Skin: E21,51,11

Hair: E23,25,27,29

Body: BG10,11,13,15

I have also sparkled her up a bit with Martha Stewart glitter pen in feldspar .
