Time for a new Challenge at The Stamping Chef

Welcome back to Cards by Kay ! It is time for a new challenge over at The Stamping Chef
as always it is " Anything Goes" . I have chosen " Lillith" for my project this week ! She is sooo pretty ! To put my project together I have used the following supplies!

Black and White Challenge at Left of centre


Hello and welcome back to cards by Kay it's time for a new challenge over at Left of centre Challenges ! This week it is " Black and White plus one other color ". Our fabulous sponsor this week is the fantastic "A Day for Daisies" the image I have used is called " Creepy Mushrooms"

It's Time for Mermaids


Hello and welcome back to Cards by Kay it time for a brand new release over at Simply Betty Stamps !
 And it is Mermaids aren't they the cutest !!  They are available now along with many more through the SBS store .
 I have used papers and card from Stampin Up ! and a wave edge punch from Fiskars.
I have sponged my doily with Stampin Up ! Crisp cantaloupe ink and the flowers are a stamp from Kaszazz it is a solid stamp that I have colored with copic markers in R83 and YR02, and Whisper White velvet ribbon. I have heat embossed little fins onto her body with Filigree embossing powder in gold.
  The copic colors I have used to color this image are
Skin: E000,00,11
Hair: E30,31,33,35
Body and fins: YR61,65,68
Lips: R20,21,24
Eyes: B0000,000,01

For Mermaid Sheri I have used Stampin up ! Gumball Green and Strawberry Slush, the die is from Die-namics called flowers I have used stick on pearls and gems on the die. The twine is from Kaszazz as are the shell stamps which I have colored the stamp directly onto the rubber with Copic markers in YR02 and G43. I have applied Martha Stewart glitters to the body and tail in pinks and greens.
The copic colors I have used for Mermaid Sherri are 
Skin: E000,00,11
Eyes: E30,31
Lips: R81,83,85
Body and Fins: R81,83,85 and G40,43,46

Monochrome Challenge at Left of Centre

Hello and Welcome back to Cards by Kay it is Monochrome challenge time at Left of Centre this week we want you to use Monochrome for your project! Monochrome as you can see from my piece is all the same color I have used copic markers in the warn greys and just used shading to lighten and darken certain areas so the skin, lips,eyes,hair,clothes everything is done in the same color.
 I have used core'dinations warm grey cardstock and papers from Echo Park my spider web die from die-namics and a stick on pumpkin charm. The image I have used is from the Simply Betty Store

Time to Sparkle

Hello and welcome back to Cards By Kay . It is time to sparkle over at Left of centre challenges this week we want you to make your project sparkle head on over to the blog for all the details ! A new Challenge at Simply Steampunk Challenges

Hello and welcome back to Cards by Kay ! It is challenge time again over at Simply Steampunk challenges. This month we are re-releasing the Robert's family portraits available here . My image to show you today is Mr Robert's. he is a very suave character drawn by the very talented Abigail Larsen for Simply Betty Stamps.
I have used a centre panel step card for my project.
My papers are from Graphic 45 An Eerie Tale Collection called Unsolved Mystery.
I have also used embellishments from Bo Bunny's Empherma Somewhere in Time pack and sprockets and a balloon charm from my stash.

Challenge Time at The Stamping Chef

Hello and Welcome back to Cards By Kay ! It is challenge time again at The Stamping Chef  challenge blog, as always it is " Anything Goes " and awesome prizes up for grabs ! This week I have chosen Krissy Kringle and I have made up my forst Christmas card for the year and I love it Krissy was awesome fun to color and I have put my card together with papers from Kaiser craft, Gold shimmer paper and White cardstock from Core'dinations !

Time for some fairies at Left of Centre Challenges


Hello and welcome back to Cards by Kay this week over at Left of Centre Challenges our brand new Challenge for you is Fairies it can't get much easier of more fun than that ! Everyone loves fairies !! This gorgeous little image is by Meredith Dillman and is available from Sweet Pea Stamps
 I have been absolutely busting to use this image I just love it and have not had time to play so this was the perfect excuse !! I have used papers from Bo Bunny's Somewhere in Time Collection, brown linen cardstock, a chipboard clock colored with Gold Tattered Angels and the corner piece is from Nini's Things on Ebay ! and flowers from Petaloo.

New Release at Simply Betty Stamps
