Happy Birthday Simply Betty Stamps

Hello and welcome back to Cards by Kay ! It is celebration time over at Simply Betty Stamps it is Betty's 4th Birthday that is 4 awesome years of fantastic Betty's images WOW ! And to celebrate the SBS and SSC DT teams have combined together to bring you one awesome blog hop !

 So to kick off we have these fantaastic Birthday images designed by Betty this one is called Elegant Betty ! 

 My ingredients for this card are:

Bo Bunny enchanted garden collection, I have used the Ephemera Pack which is filled with loads of scrumptious goodies !

The paper is from the 6x6 paper pad

I have mounted my image on dies cuts from the Spellbinders petite ovals

and base card is from Kaszazz cardstock .

 This first pic is of the inside of my card I have lined it with mauve paper and the mounted the sentiment onto a chipboard label from the ephemera pack .

Front View 

To decorate the front I have used a chipboard shape from Make it Crafty which I have inked up with Stampin Up Whisper White and sprinkled with Stampin Up Heat and Stick powder, then glittered it up with Doodlebug Sugar Coating orange glitter and aqua glitter for the bird. The ribbon is a pruple/green two toned ribbon that I found on Etsy and the other flowers are from petaloo and punched.

Hello everyone great to see you all again today's post is called Elaine she is this months challenge for the Simply Betty Facebook group challenge. The challenge was swirls and lace, with this image. I have to admit this image did challenge me quite a bit which doesn't happen very often. But I enjoyed being pushed in a different direction to what I am used to.

Simply Betty Facebook Challenge

Medusa from Simply Betty she is a digital image. It is a privilege to be able to take part in this challenge.

The challenge involved this image and already chosen colors of Black and cream and we could add one other color of our choice, I have chosen jade green hope you like it and thanks for visiting.

This is a digital stamp from Make it Crafty. Make it crafty have some of the best digi stamps I have found so far, they are so much fun to work with. This one is one of my favorites. As usual I have used copic markers for the image in the following colors

Gothic and a little bit modern

This image is so cute. She is almost to cute to be Gothic. The image is from The Paper Shelter.
When you buy from The Paper Shelter you don't just get your image outline some images like this one include various other extras, the background paper came with this one, and being digital you can print it out to whatever size you need no waste !!
So I have again used copic markers to color her,

Rapunzel

Well here she is the last one in Simply Betty's Fairy Tales and Myths set I have to say I have so much fun putting these cards together, the inspiration just kept coming I have really enjoyed these stamps so much.
So to color Rapunzel I have used the following copics

I have also used a black derwent pastel pencil for shading very lightly.
I have also used a chipboard embellishment from Make it Crafty along with my usual embellishments.
I can't pick a favorite out of these but I especially enjoy the challenge of reds sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.

Number 5 of the Simply Betty Fairy Tales and Myths set this girl is gorgeous.
I have used the following copic colors

Black copic 0.1 liner
I have only used a couple of simple embellishments on this card buttons,stick on pearls,paper flowers and ribbon.
I have used the spell binders iron work motifs and the card is from the Cor dinations range of Black with the color core.
One to go in this set Rapunzel is next so stay tuned !!
