Love is in the air !

Hello everyone welcome back to Card's by Kay it is release day over at Simply Steampunk Challenges and this month we are doing a re-release of an old favourite the fabulous Romance images by the very talented Abigail Larsen you can get these fantastic images from Simply Betty Stamps Here. For my release day image I have used Gwendolyn and I have made a side stepper card using papers from Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells which you can find out more about here. These images are just gorgeous and it is never too early too get organised for Valentine's Day for that special someone.

Little Spook Jude

Hello all and welcome back to Cards by Kay today I am showing another of the Robert's Halloween images from Simply Betty Stamps, this is Spook Jude and he is so cute these images have been a blast to play with and I have had so much fun with them.

I have used papers from Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells and the spider web die is from Memory Box.

Mrs Roberts

Hello and welcome back today I am showing my challenge day image for Simply Steampunk Challenges over at Simply Betty Stamps this month our challenge for you is to use a time piece somewhere on your project . I have used another small painting canvas for this one my background papers and card are from Stampin Up 
the chipboard clock in the bottom corner is from Make it Crafty and I have used various flowers, lace and butterfly from my stash, the gargoyle corners are from Delicious Doodles and you can find their images Here their images are also available for sale on the blog.

Simply Betty Facebook challenge - Lilliana

Hello again and welcome back today I am showing Lilliana from Simply Betty.                          
 The challenge this month was to use the colors Orange,Yellow , black and white not colors I am used to using so I really enjoyed the challenge.

Challenge Day release Simply Steampunk Challenges

Today is the the day for the release of our new challenge over at Simply Steampunk Challenges, this months challenge for you is to 'Frame It ' use a frame on your project it doesn't matter where it is as long as it's there  My project is Lavinia Portrait she is from the Classic Collection of Steampunk images over at Simply b stamps
So here she is
I have gone in a different direction with this image, it is not actually a card I have used a small painting canvas to mount everything onto. I have used copic markers in the following colors

My frame is from Make it Craftyand I have used embellishments from my stash, my papers are from Stampin Up!

Elaine

Hello everyone great to see you all again today's post is called Elaine she is this months challenge for the Simply Betty Facebook group challenge. The challenge was swirls and lace, with this image. I have to admit this image did challenge me quite a bit which doesn't happen very often. But I enjoyed being pushed in a different direction to what I am used to.

I have been having a bit of fun today with another of the new range from Simply Betty this one is called Copic Betty. I thought it perfect for me new Journal cover I wanted somewhere to keep all my favorites and thought she would be perfect. I have used the following copic colors

Simply Betty Facebook Challenge


Medusa from Simply Betty she is a digital image. It is a privilege to be able to take part in this challenge.
The challenge involved this image and already chosen colors of Black and cream and we could add one other color of our choice, I have chosen jade green hope you like it and thanks for visiting. 
The copic colors I have used are E000,E00,E02,E04,E1,E31,E33, N0,N1,N3,N5,N7, BG01,BG02,BG05,BG07,BG09, Y28.
 I have used chipboard embellishments from Make it Crafty ribbon and paper flowers and butterflies.

Steam Punk Smash

Hi everyone welcome back I have a a huge couple of weeks so I have been a little slack with my posting. I have spent the last week in Melbourne at Uni and I have missed my little craft room, but while I was there it was not all work ! I visited a funky little shop called Typo where I found this fantastic album, the pages are brown Kraft paper they have about 120 pages plenty of room for may favourite projects. Hope you like it and thanks for visiting.

The image is from Simply Betty Steampunk range The Evermore Collection and is called Aramantha Reading I have colored her using Copic markers in the following colors
Dress : R29,R35,R37,R46,R59,C1,C2
Skin: E000,E00,E11
Hair: N1,N3,N5,N7,N9
Book: E40,E41,E43
Frame: C1,C3,C5,C7
The back grounds I have used Stampin Up inks Sahara Sand and Midnight Muse.
The papers are from Stampin Up and Jessica Sprague Vintage Blue
And the Chipboard elements are from Make it Crafty
I will be entering this in the Steampunk DT call for Simply Betty Stamps I have a crazy passion for Steampunk images and since finding Simply Betty I have bought nearly all of them. The inspiration that I get from these images is amazing. I would love to be on the Simply Betty team because of the passion I have for the images and most of all the opportunity to meet new friends who are as quirky as I am. It would be an amazing opportunity.
