Week 4 at SBS

Hello and welcome back to Cards By Kay it is time close January for 2015 already here is the final instalment for SBS stamps and this week I have chosen a very special image to color up ! This one is special to me because Betty drew this gal up for me for my birthday last month and I just love her so thank you again Betty Roberts ! Ok so I have used papers from the Graphic 45 Steampunk Spells collection called Mechanical Marvels I have layered this onto black and a dark orange card from Tim Holtz Core-dinations collection called Spiced Marmalade the frame is a silhouette file which I have embossed with Copper frantage the theme was to use twine somewhere on the project so I added a little twine bow the flowers and skulls are from my stash.

Happy New Year and a Happy New Challenge

Welcome back to Cards by Kay it is challenge time again at Punk you Girl and we are kicking off with a brand new sponsor SLS Lines on Etsy to start the month I have used an image called Halloween Goth Boy and I think he is pretty cool ! I added my own little twist on ringing in the new year with the RIP tombstone from my silhouette library by adding 2014 onto it !
 I have colored my image this time with Prismacolor pencils and I am pretty happy with how it has turned out the background is a combination of pencils and Stampin Up midnight muse ink.

Creepmas at Punk You Girl

Hello and welcome back to Cards by Kay it is Creepmas time over at Punk you Girl ! And we are having heaps of fun with images from Stitchy Bear. I have chosen this awesome image called Vaguely Goth which you can find by clicking the link !
 The frame is a file from my Silhouette Cameo library I have cut it out on a red shimmer paper the flowers are from one of my favorite ebay stores called Click it For Crafts they have an awesome assortment of Mulberry paper flowers ! I have also added a couple of little red and black skulls to my project they are little hard to see in the pic.The background paper is from Delicious Doodles  which sadly will be closing at the end of the year so be quick there's heaps to choose from !
